About Us

Troop 29 was chartered in 1954 and has a proud history of serving the youth of Hampton Roads.  We are chartered through the First Presbyterian Church of Hampton and have enjoyed a long relationship with them.

Troop 29 meets every Monday (unless Hampton city schools and the Federal Government are closed due to holiday/weather) from 7pm-8:30pm at First Presbyterian Church, located at 514 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA 23669. (MAP)

Troop 29 is an active troop that schedules at least one campout/day trip per month.  We have camped at many locations in the local area and region such as: Newport News Park, Ft. Eustis, Chickahominy, Pipsico and Bayport Scout Reservations, the Outer Banks, Washington DC and Gettysburg.
