About Us

Troop 29 was chartered in 1954 and has a proud history of serving the youth of Hampton Roads.  We are chartered through the First Presbyterian Church of Hampton and have enjoyed a long relationship with them.

Troop 29 meets every Monday (unless Hampton city schools and the Federal Government are closed due to holiday/weather) from 7pm-8:30pm at First Presbyterian Church, located at 514 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA 23669. (MAP)

Troop 29 is an active troop that schedules multiple campouts and day outings per year. We have camped at many locations in the local area and region such as: Newport News Park, Ft. Eustis, Chickahominy, Pipsico and Bayport Scout Reservations, the Outer Banks, Washington DC and Gettysburg.
